Let’s break down how Lea Lea Love Clothing got started - the how and the why!
Leah Graifer, a renowned plus-size model, was tired of being in a position where she either saw clothing she had to have, but it wasn’t offered in her size or if it was in her size, the clothing item wasn’t designed to fit her fuller bust. Women are not all the same shape, but a lot of brands who sell plus size clothing tend to design items for one specific body type - an hourglass figure with a medium to small cup size. For Leah and many others, that doesn’t align with the realistic female body. Some women have a larger waistband, but smaller cup size, while others have a larger cup size and smaller waist. Leah always wanted to wear those cute, cup detail, bustier tops and didn’t want to be held back from doing so and also wanted others to have the ability to express their confidence without fashion limitations.
Leah then decided to create her own plus size clothing line that would take into account the ever changing body of a woman, thus creating a clothing line that is adjustable beyond what is currently the standard. Leah is committed to continuing to evolve the brand, the sizing options, customized and adjustable fits (adjustable waistband and mesh-fit top functionality), allowing women to celebrate their bodies, no matter their uniqueness and provide fashion that speaks to each woman’s confidence.
Leah strives to create high-quality, young and trendy clothing that you will want to wear over and over again! Leah’s goal is to help pave the path for inclusive clothing for plus-size women, where you don’t have to miss out on cute clothes or force your body to fit into something that just doesn’t fit.
